The Inecto Unlimited range was a new to market semi-permanent hair colour which would allow consumers to relax their hair and then colour it on the same day as opposed to waiting several weeks before they could colour to avoid over-processing of their hair.
I was responsible for the design of this packaging from concept to launch which included the pack itself, inner elements, model retouching, photoshoots, research and supporting elements.
I provided several sets of concepts and worked with the marketing team to streamline and roll out the final concept across all 5 SKUs. I was involved in choosing the models as well as retouching and hair colour correction from the resulting photoshoot. I worked with the Product Development & Integrity manager to match the hair colour to the sample swatches to make sure that the colour was truly representative of the colour in the box. I also created the instruction leaflet from scratch as well as other inner element labels included in the box.
The target market was the younger, fashion-forward and more daring generation of Inecto users and we wanted to carry that fun across the packs which was why we went with bright bold colours and a mood board style back of pack to create visual cues and aspirational emotives for the consumer
